Haematopoietic Cell Transplant 
  • Be The Match (Operated by the  National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) - Unrelated donor hematopoeitic stem cell registry website. Educational material primarily for patients/families. Clinical website designed for health care professionals. Some topics provide continuing education credits.
  • World Marrow Donor Association  - The WMDA is now overseeing Bone Marrow Donors Worldwide (BMDW), now called Search and Match Service, a database of donor phenotypes that can facilitate international searches for unrelated donors. The site also gives worldwide hematopoeitic stem cell transplantation statistics and lists publications related to unrelated donors and registries.
  • Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research  - Slides on transplant statistics, access to cell repository and transplant data, publication list.
  • Allied Learning Center - FACT  - Centralized resource providing educational material related to the cellular therapy community. Non-members may pay a fee. Continuing education credits available. 
Solid Organ Transplant                              
  • The Immune Tolerance Network (ITN) - International clinical research consortium founded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), whose mission is to accelerate the clinical development of immune tolerance therapies.
  • UNOS  - Information on solid organ transplantation and donation, allocation calculators, guidelines, and policies.
  • UNOS Connect  - A comprehensive learning management system for transplant and procurement professionals, which offers webinars, e-learning modules, patient safety videos, and other online training resources.

  • AABB  (formerly the American Association of Blood Banks) - AABB brings together those engaged in transfusion medicine and cellular therapies. The goal is to make transfusion medicine and cellular therapies safe, available, and effective worldwide by leading in standards development, accreditation, and implantation of quality systems. 
  • American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy  (previously American Society of Bone Marrow Transplant) - Select recordings from the Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Meetings (TOC), formerly the BMT Tandem Meetings.
  • American Society of Transplantation  - Education including webinars, videos, and journal clubs. Non-members may pay a fee.
  • International Pediatric Transplant Association  - Professional organization of individuals in the field of pediatric transplantation.
  • American Foundation for Donation and Transplantation (AFDT)  (formerly SEOPF) - Offers in-person courses in histocompatibility.
  • European Society for Organ Transplantation (ESOT)  - ESOT is a major Eurpoean society of transplant professionals. It offers an extensive course program to scientists and medical doctors, enhances a network of European laboratories, and organizes a biannual Congress where participants can learn about the latest achievements in transplantation.
  • International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT)  - Multidisciplinary professional organization dedicated to improving the care of patients with advanced heart or lung disease through transplantation, mechanical support, and innovative therapies via research, education, and advocacy. 
  • The Transplantation Society (TTS)  - Their core mission is to include the development of the science and clinical practice, scientific communication, continuing education, and guidance on ethical practice.

  • American Association of Immunologists (AAI)  - An association of professionally trained scientists dedicated to advancing the knowledge of immunology and its related disciplines, fostering the interchange of ideas and information and addressing the potential integration of immunologic principles into clinical practice. 
  • American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB)  - An international community of biologists dedicated to advancing scientific discovery, advocating sound research polices, improving education, promoting professional development and increasing diversity in the scientific workforce.  The organization has a very nice listing of educational resources under the Educators tab.
  • Clinical Immunology Society (CiS)  - The mission is to facilitate education, translational research, and novel approaches to therapy in clinical immunology to promote excellence in the care of patients with immunologic/inflammatory disorders.
  • Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies (FOCIS)  - FOCIS exists to improve human health through immunology by fostering interdisciplinary approaches to both understand and treat immune-based diseases. (ASHI is a participating society.)

  • HighWire Press  - A service of Stanford University Libraries, large free full-text science archive with access to many scientific journals. 
  • Medline Plus  - Extensive information from the National Institutes of Health and other trusted sources on over 500 diseases and conditions. Includes lists of hospitals and physicians, a medical encyclopedia and dictionaries, health information in Spanish, extensive information on prescription and nonprescription drugs, current health news, and links to thousands of clinical trials.
  • National Library of Medicine  - A large collection of articles and search engines such as PubMed, Medline Plus, TOXNET and BLAST.
  • Pubmed  - Search engine comprising more than 29 million citations for biomedical literature from Medline, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include links to full-text content from PubMed Central and publisher web sites.
