Directors' Mentor ProgramThe Directors’ Affairs Mentor Program connects new HLA Directors (mentees) with more experienced Directors (mentors) to provide one-on-one guidance, support, and career development. This is an informal, year-long mentorship where mentors volunteer to share their expertise and mentees commit to engaging with their mentors monthly. Discussions are based on mutually agreed topics and may cover:

Can this program replace the DTRC / ACHI training program?
No. The Directors’ Affairs Mentor Program is designed to provide mentorship and guidance, but it does not replace formal DTRC or ACHI training programs required for Directors.
How are mentors and mentees matched?
Matches are based on areas of expertise, career goals, and availability.
Can I switch mentors if the pairing isn’t a good fit?
Yes. Program coordinators can assist in reassigning mentorships if necessary.
Is participation recognized by ASHI?
