About the Workshop

This workshop will provide an introduction to HLA informatics. Designed for HLA professionals of all roles who are new to or interested in learning more about HLA informatics. Sessions will include hands-on projects to work with real-world HLA data from clinical histocompatibility lab information systems and transplant registry datasets. Presentations are on cutting-edge tools from leading immunogenetics researchers and histocompatibility informatics developers. Participants will be expected to bring a laptop computer to engage with and complete the projects in real time. Programming skills are not required; beginner-level resources and hands-on assistance will be provided.

1. Is there parking available at Tulane University? 

Yes, free parking is available to attendees. Please request parking validation at the on-site Registration desk. 

2. Do I have to contact the hotel to make accommodations? 

There is no need to contact the hotel. We will make your hotel reservations based on the selection made on your registration. Once registration closes, registrants will receive hotel confirmations and other important housing information. 

3. Registration is full but I'd like to register if someone decides not to attend after registration closes. Is there a wait list?
