CHT/CHS Questions The CHT and CHS Examinations have been developed to objectively measure the knowledge and skills required for histocompatibility technologists and specialists. Both examinations contain 150 multiple-choice questions. The examinations are developed by an examination committee of experts in the field who are appointed by ABHI. The following are examples of multiple-choice questions. Each of the questions is followed by four suggested answers. Select the one answer that is the best for each question. Director Exam Questions The Histocompatibility Laboratory Director Examination has been developed to objectively measure the knowledge and skills required for serving as the director of a histocompatibility laboratory. The examination contains 200 scored multiple-choice questions and is divided into two parts. Part 1 contains 110 scored items to be administered in 3 hours, and part 2 contains 90 scored items to be administered in 2 hours. Thirty additional pretest (not scored) items are interspersed to each part of the exam (15 to Part 1 and 15 to Part 2). A detailed content outline can be found in the candidate handbook. The examination is developed by a committee of experts in the field who are appointed by ABHI. The following are examples of multiple-choice questions.
