2008 ASHI Proficiency Testing Program

ASHI is pleased to announce the availability of the new website for the Proficiency Testing Program subscription order submission for 2008. To access the PT subscription order website, simply click on the 2008 Survey System link. The complete 2008 ASHI PT subscription brochure has also been posted on the ASHI website for your convenience.

As announced during the ASHI Annual Meeting in Minneapolis, ASHI is in the process of developing a new comprehensive web-based program to manage all ASHI laboratory programs, including the PT program. The new web program is called the “ASHI Lab Center” and will feature:

  1. A user-friendly PT survey subscription order website that will make the entry of PT survey orders seamless, slated to go live November 13, 2007;
  2. A user-friendly data submission site that will make the results entry easily executable;
  3. A new design for summary reports that will present data in a concise and informative fashion;
  4. The ability to expedite the accreditation review process by forwarding your results electronically to the ASHI Accreditation Review Board.

You will notice that shipment dates for each survey have not been provided. Once shipment dates for the 2008 program have been finalized, all ASHI members and PT subscribers will be notified and the dates will be posted on the ASHI website. The first shipment date for 2008 surveys has been tentatively scheduled for March 2008.

If you should have any questions regarding the 2008 ASHI PT Program, please contact Cecilia Blair at cblair@ahint.com or at 856-642-4411.
