Is there a web forum out there that focuses on bone marrow transplantation histocompatibility, through NMDP, ASHI, or others?

Since our lab is now offering high-resolution DNA typing to support our university’s program, it would be great to connect with similar labs. Possible topics: reporting NMDP codes and CWD alleles, high-resolution typing techniques such as HD-SSO technology, and how/when to report allele groups, etc.

I’d appreciate forum responses or personal e-mails.
Thanks~

I agree that such a discussion thread should exist. For example, ASHI plans to work with NMDP on adapting codes to the April 2010 nomenclature (ASHI news announcement 6/16/2009). This is a unique and possibly onetime opportunity to solicit feedback from the histocompatibility community on how to make these codes more transparent.
